Maggie Turncoat And The Empire Of Chains is a standard fantasy tale that I’ve seen on TV, complete with action, adventure, and magic. Maggie is an orphaned child with extraordinary skills who goes on an epic quest to avenge her father’s death. She gets herself into a lot of trouble on her travels, as expected, but she quickly makes friends. It made me think of the film Labyrinth. The end is predictable, yet it closes on a cliffhanger, implying that there will be a sequel.
